For more than 20 years, CR served my sister. The counselors, staff, assistants and fellow residents of her group home became her adult family. Without fail, they (staff) have been conscientious, kind and attentive. They chose to make my sister a member of their extended family. On behalf of my family, I thank them for the love they showed her over the years.–From a personal letter of thanks

While in Virginia (1998-2012), John lived in a number of group homes, all run by Community Residences Inc. Staffed by highly trained and very caring individuals, these homes provided an exceptional quality of life for John and his housemates.–- Family quote

Learning to deal with stress in difficult moments has been a challenge. It’s been a long road. I’m amazed at where I am now. CR has been simply wonderful. I got so much help learning to live independently. Today I feel very independent, confident and more self-assured than I have been in awhile.–- Participant of Arlington ArtWorks, CR’s therapeutic art program
