AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund

Community Residences has partnered with AmeriCorps in a new program called the Volunteer Generation Fund to engage community members to give back to their community through public service. CR was chosen because of its commitment to providing support and community integration for underserved populations in Virginia. Virginia is the first state in the country to employ volunteerism through the Edward Kennedy Act of 2009 and this funding is directly out of the President’s budget. We would like to see all members in CR’s communities live with dignity and respect with opportunities for service and growth.
