Who Is Eligible?

Adults who:

  1. live in Anne Arundel County
  2. have Medicaid
  3. are seeing a therapist and/or a psychiatrist and
  4. have been diagnosed with a mental illness on the Priority Population List.

Children and Adolescents who:

  1. are residents of Anne Arundel County; have Medicaid; and have adequate housing
  2. are seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist for a serious emotional disturbance, and
  3. the symptoms of this serious emotional disturbance get in the way of
    1. Staying in their home or school;
    2. Safety for the child or adolescents, or others; or
    3. Cause other problems such as inappropriate social behavior and serious problems with peer or family relationships.
  4. Children and adolescents who may be returning from a higher level of care, and need this kind of program to move ahead,
  5. Children and adolescents who could stay out of a more intensive level of care with the help of this program.
  6. Children and adolescents must have enough behavioral control to be safe in the psychiatric rehabilitation program and benefit from the psychiatric rehabilitation provided.
