UPDATE: Check out the media coverage of our groundbreaking ceremony, HERE!

Community Residences, Inc. (CR), in partnership with the City of Falls Church, is building a new home for individuals with developmental disabilities. While CR is exceptionally excited about building Miller House, this opportunity requires a significant financial commitment by CR. We are asking our supporters and the community to come together in support of this project and contribute to making Miller House a home through private donations and sponsorships. A few notable examples of needs to be addressed include:

Cost of Construction – While CR does receive public funding, CR receives no reimbursement for the construction, purchase, renovation, or furnishing of Miller House. This expense is the sole responsibility of CR. Medicaid or the Medicaid Waiver will not reimburse CR for this cost. If CR is fortunate enough to receive grants or low interest financing in an effort to reduce costs, this will help tremendously.

Making Miller House a Home – Medicaid does not reimburse CR for the costs associated with furnishing or decorating a home. CR is responsible for this expense and looks to families, donors, parents, and members of the community to assist in making Miller House a safe, comfortable home for its new, deserving residents.

Transportation – The cost of accessible vehicles and transportation is the sole responsibility of CR.

Please consider making a generous donation or serving as a sponsor of Miller House today. Your gift will truly make a DAILY, POSITIVE IMPACT on the lives of others!
